Ocean Row Events (ORE) is a company set up to try and raise £1 million for charitable causes over the next five years. ORE acquired the record breaking French boat ‘La Mondiale’, now known as “Ocean Row Events Challenger” she is currently the fastest Ocean Rowing boat in the world having held the Atlantic Rowing Speed Record for 15 years. The boat has now been completely renovated and ORE is confident she will be faster than ever before due to several groundbreaking changes.
Leven Brown, founder of Ocean Row Events has arranged three exciting expeditions in order to attain the fundraising target. Leven rowed the Atlantic solo in 2005/6 spending a total of 123 days at sea and holds a Guinness World Record for being the first boat to make it from Mainland Spain to the West Indies.
